James opened the box on behalf of the Hedley Family and he chose envelope 7 and that was the key.
£68.50p the draw prize and waiting in the box £356.50
£425 Total Prize
Iain Strachan £66
Viv Cook £85
Debbie Pattison £79.50p
Each team gets 20 tickets @ £2 each every two weeks
From the proceeds the club will keep 50% for club funds
The succesfull ticket from the draw earns the next 25%
The remaining 25% will be entered into the box
The box will be locked with 13 possible keys but only 1 key will open the box
If you win the draw you then have the chance to try and open the box. to claim the remaining 25%. If you pick the correct key you then win the remaining cash prize in the box.
If the selected key will not open the lock it is then placed into the box and the cash inside will be rolled over to the next draw
You still keep your winnings but the jackpot in the box will remain butthe next person who wins the next draw has the chance to pick another key but this time there will be only 12 keys not 13 and the jackpot will have been increased
We know where each sequence of numbers every team has, so at the time of the draw we will be able to tell that team that they have the winning ticket in their group.
The person holding the winning ticket has until the next draw for their chance to open the box.
If the ticket is not produced the original prize will be held for as long as the small lotteries act stipulates. But unfortunately they will not have the chance to open the box if the ticket is not produced in time and the Jackpot will be increased accordingly. The number of keys to pick from will not be altered
