No results can be published for under 8's as they play in the Tynedale "Just for Fun" League. We have two squads of 12 players and they play under Green's & Whites.
We are gratefull to Hexham East First School who have been a tremendous help in allowing us to use their school field and goals for the exclusive use of our under 8 squads

Despite the monsoon conditions on Friday, the four Club tournament went ahead - as part of the celebrations for the Allendale Club in the opening of their new Clubhouse. Group A - Prudhoe Reds, Corbridge, Haltwhistle Group B - Prudhoe Blues, Corbridge, Allendale and Hexham Hexham opened their competition with a 3 - 0 win over Corbridge the goals coming from Elliot Jeffries, David Scott (penalty) and Jonathan "Joff" Carr While all goals are memorable – Elliot’s first goal was special,it came from a free kick, over the heads of Corbridge players - and Ronaldo style into the back of the net! Second game of the day was against Prudhoe Blues and a goal apiece from Elliot Jeffries and Jonathan Carr kept Hexham on track but not before a fine penalty save from Richard Brooks The final group game was a close affair but Elliot Jeffries kept up his goal a game run to make sure Hexham managed a draw against host club Allendale. Hexham won the Group B and were drawn to play 2nd placed in Group A in semi final. Corbridge played Allendale in first semi final which went to extra time where Allendale scored to win 1 -0. In the second semi final Hexham were grateful to Elliot Jeffries for his goal scoring prowess to score the only goal of the game against Haltwhistle to take them into the final. The final was against Allendale and as in the group game there was very little between the two teams A very closely contested game with every Hexham player demonstrating their developing skills, awareness and teamwork. Nil, nil at full time meant 3 minutes of extra time - still without a goal. Penalty shoot out! - Just then the heavens opened! In a nail biting finale penalties were even to 3 -3 , then Allendale missed one and Hexham went on to score their final 2- so winning 5 -4 in the end. All credit to Allendale who played really well, and while disappointed were sporting in such a close contest.
